Hello beautiful souls, weirdos and southern folks!
I'm so happy that you're here with me.
This is the first day of the 30 day fast I decided to do
with a few close friends who are also creatives.
I thought I'd offer this support to other people and #CvlaBabies
supporting my art and journey as a mother and creative.
What is the 30 day fast?
For 30 days I'll be fasting (abstaining) from processed foods
sugar and meats. I'll only be eating fruits and vegetables, teas and water.
Starting my day with setting my intentions, goals and giving thanks.
Less social media, because as a creative I'm expected to be present
in the fake universe all the time and honestly, it's not realistic.
Our mental health matters, we as creatives need space to breath so we
can create our best work.
So food isn't the only thing you can fast from.
I'll be keeping these blog posts short and sweet but this is a reminder that you
are a human and if you're a creative, you HAVE to give your body a break.
Taking breaks helps your mental health and clarity as a creative.
